Rickenbacker® Model 450
Model 450 (1961)
The first Combo 450, introduced in 1957, was a two pickup version of the Combo 400. It was available in the same colors as the 400.The company maintained several variations of the 450 over the years before it was deleted from the guitar line in 1984.
By 1960, the Model 450 had 4 knobs, two volume and two tone controls and a pickup selector switch.
The early 450 guitars had embossed metal logo plates and metal pickguards.
After 1962 the guitars had white plastic pickguards and nameplates. Here is a "modern" 450.
