I am sorry to bother you but I had no

luck speaking with Rickenbacker Corp. about this. 

Perhaps you can help me.

I am the owner of three vintage Rics and

one is in severe need of refinishing. I'd like

to have it done well and not damage the instrument

or the sound (all 3 are working guitars and not owned as

collector's items). 

Do you have any suggestions as to who might refinish this guitar

well and with the proper lacquer?  Or if it most be done locally, how

one might remove the finish and what kind of finish to put on it?
