Rickenbacker Guitar Models / Re: New Lightshow LE

Great work Paul,
I hope many people will be attracted to owning such a beautiful Baby.
This seems to be kind of modern solution for the old light show guitars that are history today ( and very $$$..).
Prices for original complete guitars are in the 20K - 40K range.
I am thinking of buying one of yours Paul but the bad thing is that I don't perform in public and the light show will pass unseen.
Too bad!!!  8)

I will love to see your 1997 so we may compare could be interesting for every Rick lover.
As far as I know this was and still is a rare feature on semi acoustic Ricks.

Greetings and watch your mail dude. 8)

Rickenbacker Guitar Models / Re: Rickenbacker 320 what is it worth?

A ;D re you selling to a dealer or to a private party?
If it's a dealer you may count 30% less but you get the money.Consignment is generally 20%.
The price also depends where the guitar is located..In Europe or USA.

I own a black 320 from 81 with Klusons tuners and I have seen the price on eBay from $1.500 to 2.000 us dollars.
Mine has the newer High gain PU's not the toaster reissue type used later.

If you are in Europe consider that the prices in Euros are generally 35-40% higher at least ( custom duties and transport, taxes)
1 Euro = 1.30 - 140 us dollar.
So 2.000 euros = 2.700 - 2.800 American dollars ::)
Good luck

I received these photos earlier tonight. They come from Belgrade, Serbia.
Rose, Morris Model 1997 from '65.
Any comments?

Here we go:

Thanks for posting this pictures of my guitar.I have been owning it for many years now and I have noted that they are rare as hell.
Go and find one's nearly impossible.I have been searching for mine for many years until I found it  ;D.
Most of the RM's Ricks have been altered and broken by a English madman from a group The Who.If you count that at each concert he had to brake one..... in 3 months all the export RM's models will have been destroyed.....If I recall correctly less than 80 guitars were made / exported to UK.Is there anyone else that have a Original RM 1997 ????
Oh yes!!! I also have a beautiful 1997 Reissue made of a tiger stripe maple, front and back.
It's the only 1997 that I have ever seen in such a beautiful tiger stripe wood.If someone want to put the pics on the forum email me and I will provide them.Just a beautiful looker. 8)

I own a 65 Rose Maoris 1997 as well as a 1997 made 1997 Reissue with a rare and killer tiger stripe Maple top / back.
Difference in the first place is that doesn't feel or sound similar at all.Color is different...and both have the f hole.

The Reissue 1997 (at least mine) is a beautiful guitar, very well made but the 1965 just feels more natural to play.Is like meeting a old friend again after many years...I hope you understand.
You can look at my Rose Morris just going to the search engine and type Rose Morris 1997
You will see lot of photos that The Man has put. And ....Yes I am in Belgrade - Serbia (if you know where it is)There are guitar collectors all over the Globe.
