Bjorn,
Thanks for posting this pictures of my guitar.I have been owning it for many years now and I have noted that they are rare as hell.
Go and find one please....it's nearly impossible.I have been searching for mine for many years until I found it  ;D.
Most of the RM's Ricks have been altered and broken by a English madman from a group The Who.If you count that at each concert he had to brake one..... in 3 months all the export RM's models will have been destroyed.....If I recall correctly less than 80 guitars were made / exported to UK.Is there anyone else that have a Original RM 1997 ????
Oh yes!!! I also have a beautiful 1997 Reissue made of a tiger stripe maple, front and back.
It's the only 1997 that I have ever seen in such a beautiful tiger stripe wood.If someone want to put the pics on the forum email me and I will provide them.Just a beautiful looker. 8)

Hi there,
I am sending you to your email address pics of my Reissue made in 97.
I will love if you can post these pics on the Forum so everyone can admire this beautie.
I will love to see your 1997 so we may compare them...it could be interesting for every Rick lover.
As far as I know this was and still is a rare feature on semi acoustic Ricks.

Greetings and watch your mail dude. 8)

I have just joined this forum and although the post was some time ago i would like to let you know that  I have a RM 1997 in fire glow Serial no DH106 guitar
although it was not damaged by Mr T it has been modified by a previous owner in the late 60's by adding Gibson Humbucker pickups instead of the toaster pickups (I still have the original pickups)
