1966 330 Fireglow
« on: April 13, 2010, 09:12:29 PM »
I am not sure I am going about this correctly as this is my first post on the site.  I have a 330 6 string in Fireglow that I bought in San Antonio, Tx. in 1967.  It was used but as new.  My problem?  My serial # is on a sticker on the back of the headstock.  No # on the jack plate.  The Rickenbacker emblem on the headstock does not say made in USA.  The serial # listed is 4501.  That is all and my serial # checks come back as invalid.  Any help or any one who has heard of this please advise.  Thanks and pick, pick, and keep picking.

ADNutt73: I suspect that this instrument may be a copy as I have not see any Rickenbackers with a serial on the back of the headstock or on a sticker. Phots would certainly help one identify a copy or "faker" to whcih they are often referred.
I read the news today, oh boy ...
