The B-series was introduced in 1979 and dropped from production in 1982. They were the first vintage reissue project. However, they were not really reissues, just some "Beatlelized" modern models.

was browsing through my mail archives to find why I said that the B-series started in 1979. I found an email from sept 3, 2000 from John Hall where he says:

" These came about in 1979, during the one year time in '79-'80 when I was not working for the company. "

In the same email he also tells me that the production of the B series stopped in 1982. This doesn't mean that there may have been guitars in this series made later. It is always difficult say exact dates. I suspect that there may have been a backlog situation causing B-series guitars & basses being shipped later than 1982.

Old post, but do you know Bjorn if any of the B series 360's came in MG? Or does anyone know?
